I've been a really bad blogger but mostly because life has blindsided me for the last few months. Long story short, I lost my job in July, Thing 1 was hospitalized (he's fine now) in August and my dearest Grandmother passed away in September. Major suckitude to put it mildly. That's how Thing 2 summed up the past several weeks in our household. I couldn't agree more. King Thing's grandmother passed away unexpectedly last Saturday. She was making good progress in her recovery from surgery but I guess her body was just done with the entire process. I've been craving buttercream icing since September 2005. I've been on a mission to find the holy grail of buttercream for over six months now.
