Anyone going to Maryland Sheep and Wool this year?

I haven't seen much buzz in bloglandia about Maryland Sheep and Wool this year. Are any of you planning to attend this year? If not, does that mean that I won't have to stand in long lines to get close to The Fold, Koigu and Tess' booths this year? Will I actually get my hands on a skein of the illusive Socks That Rock yarn? A girl can dream, right?

Sanguine Gryphon is organizing a blogger picnic on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm. For more info., click HERE! I'm going to wear an IndigoMuse button to identify me so please don't be shy and say "hi". Just so you know, this is what I look like...

Sheeps 06 with Heather and Zira

I'll be hanging with H, Ei, Kel and Donna this year. Can't wait to see everyone. But I'd love to meet some of you bloggers out there. Drop me an email at indigomuse (at) verizon (dot) net or slip me a comment if you'll be out there this weekend.

On Friday, I'll be working at Strawberry Festival. If you're looking for an excuse to visit the Roanoke Valley, this festival and the Chili Cookoff downtown on Saturday are two really good reasons. Come out to the festivals and enjoy some great food and fun, stay at the Hotel Roanoke, visit the Mill Mountain Star and bask in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I guarantee that you'll want to come back again in the fall. Hope to meet some of you this weekend!

I'm not going to MD this year, but I do hope be there next year. In either event, you'll have to battle your way to and through The Fold & Tess's. Those are the two vendors that every single person has mentioned. Good luck and have fun!

I hope you make it to the vendor's of your choice. I haven't heard that many people talking about MDSW this year.

Oddly, the calm in blogland may just be the calm before the storm. Remember, there's a Sea Socks Cruise happening and plenty of folks are silent!

Sadly, I spent too much money in the NYC yarn shops. Had planned on going, but not in the cards this year. Have fun!

I'm not going to MD although I'm sure it will be great. Koigu would be a choice of mine as well to find. The colors are not what they seem on the pc so in person is best. Be prepared to buy a lot!!! STR is one I want too. Can't we order it from Blue Moon online? I was just trying to narrow down the color I wanted yesterday! But with the wheel expense I might have to hold off.

Tanya, I'll be at MS&W, so I hope to run into you there! I'll wear my "Virgin Wool" button, in case either of my two readers are there! ;-)

Alas! I am heading west to near your neck of the woods. I am sad about not going to MD. especially since I have never been but at least that gives me something to look forward to next year!

Have fun and I hope you get everything that you wished for.
