In the grips of Ravelry

Shhhh, go away boys, you bother me. Mom just got a Ravelry invite and she's trying to get her stuff uploaded to Ravelry. No, I'm not cooking dinner. No, I won't look at your high score on your blah, blah, blah game. Yes, I'm going to spend the next few weeks working on this until they pry the keyboard from my cold dead hands. So many things to do, so little time...

I wonder what it must be like to be frecklegirl and hold so much power over thousands of people. Because of her and her hubby, thousands of us now spend countless hours glued to their website....

I think perhaps Ravelry is really an evil alien plot to overthrow the knitting stronghold of this planet by using internet mind control.... ;-)

I've still not received an invite, so all this craziness is hard to relate to. But all I can say is...crap, one more thing to keep me from actual knitting!

I'm not sure I want to get an invite. I spend enough time with the computer and knitting as it is.

haha - Ravelry has had me trapped too.

Ravelry has sucked me in too! The only thing I don't like is that it's made it perfectly clear that my stash is shockingly big (at least to me). I've only added the sock yarn downstairs and I'm over 40 in the stash. I've got to add the yarn upstairs, the rest of my wips, and start my queue. ugh! I hope DH never sees it ... ever!
